Offers a medical team that works with other providers, including mental health professionals, specialists and hospitals, to coordinate your care. We use the latest medical research and evidence to guide our decisions and, together, we discuss the available treatment options. We also provide you with tools such as log books and reminder calendars to help you manage your care at home. Our goal is to make you a part of your own treatment. Primary Care Services include: Routine Annual Check-Ups; Pre-Employment Physicals; Management of Chronic Conditions; Coordination of Care; Pre-Op Evaluations and Adult Immunizations. Our specialty services located in the Adult Medicine and Wellness Center include: Cardiology; Pulmonary; Renal; Endocrinology and Allergy. We are committed to establishing a relationship with you and providing the services and tools to maintain your health. We are your one stop shop for prescription requests and diagnostic testing; all available on site. Our team can help you find a specialist, make an appointment and coordinate all the information needed for treatment. Offers 530-bed tertiary-care teaching hospital as well as A. Holly Patterson Extended Care Facility; NuHealth Family Health Centers and Primary Care Center. In addition to its own extensive medical and surgical capabilities, NUMC is affiliated with the Northwell Health System. NUMC is a Level I trauma center.
