Promotes the physical, cognitive, social and emotional growth of infants and toddlers, as well as prenatal education and support services to pregnant women.
Provides risk assessments, including a nutritional screening as well as medical and dental examinations; mental health interventions as needed or required in anticipation of the child's birth (as well as after childbirth).
