The Preschool Special Education Program provides services to developmentally delayed or disabled children between three and five years of age. If eligible the child can receive physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, services from a special education itinerant teacher, vision services, social work, psychological services, audiological services, nutrition services as well as several other services depending on the individual needs of the child. For those children who are significantly delayed in all areas of their development a center-based preschool program may be available.

Sullivan County Public Health Services offers the county residents numerous services that include a certified home health agency, long-term program, WIC program, HIV testing and counseling, immunization clinics, tuberculosis clinic, diagnostic and treatment centers, children with special needs program, Healthy Beginnings of Sullivan, Health Emergency Planning, Bilingual Outreach Program, and Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program, Maternal/Child Health, Community Health Worker Program, and Health Education
