NEW YORK STATE DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS AND COMMUNITY SUPERVISION - DUTCHESS COUNTY

This agency investigates residence and employment plans of prospective parolees from the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision Facilities and approves or disapproves those plans, making alternative plans when required. After release the parolee is supervised by an assigned parole officer in accordance with the agency standards of supervision. This supervision continues until the parolee reaches their maximum expiration date, or for a minimum of three years from the date of release.
