A not-for-profit agency founded in 1987 by Westchester County residents of African American descent which works to develop strategies for the advancement of African Americans in the areas of economic development, cultural and social awareness, to strengthen the family institution, and to focus attention on social issues which have a disproportionately negative impact on the African American community.
