This is a statewide program that automatically enrolls any Central Hudson heating or non-heating customer into our bill discount program to receive 12 monthly credits. The credits are based on the service type and amount of HEAP received. Customers are also enrolled in our Budget Billing program, but does have the option to opt-out. If a customer heats with an alternate fuel such as oil, propane, wood, pellets, they can send Central Hudson their Notice of Decision letter verifying that the HEAP payment went to the alternate heating company and Central Hudson will enroll them into the program.
