Institutionalized residential treatment for socially and emotionally handicapped boys ages 12-17 and high-school age girls. On-campus school, recreation and work-experience program. Professional social workers and psychologists provide regular treatment through individual counseling and therapeutic groups.Current capacity is 189 beds: 58 "critical care" beds in the boys' hard-to-place program 24 "critical care" beds in the girls' hard-to-place program 20 beds for sex offenders 27 beds for youth dually diagnosed with intellectual disability and emotional disturbance 23 beds in intermediate care-for boys who have been successful in Critical Care or the offender treatment program and for whom the focus can be changed to transitioning out of residential care 15 (9 boys, 6 girls) beds in intensive residential substance abuse program 13 beds in less structured, open-campus program
