Individuals ages 18 years and older: - with a physical or mental impairment - no longer provide for their own basic needs of shelter, food, clothing or medical care - who are at risk of harm either by their own or others' actions - who have no one willing or able to responsibly assist

Provides a full range of publicly funded social services and cash assistance programs. Subsidy is available to eligible families. Works with children, adults, and families to resolve issues and concerns of abuse, neglect, behavioral problems, etc., to ensure safety and wellbeing. Oversees Children's Services and Financial Programs including SNAP, Temporary Assistance, Emergency Assistance, HEAP, Medicaid, Foster Care, Adult Protective Services, Child Support and resources to assist in job searching.
