Education programs, support groups, respite care, outreach, in-home assessment and care consultations are available. This grant targets underserved communities in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Provides assistance to individuals and families in trouble, at any stage of life. Services include protection of abused/neglected children, sheltering homeless/abandoned teens, aiding families in crisis, treatment/rehabilitation of people with mental health or substance abuse problems and safeguarding the independence of seniors. Provides information and referrals.
