Description
Consists of six separate districts: Bowling Green Estates, East Meadow, Levittown, Uniondale, Roosevelt Field, Lido-Point Lookout. All other communities in the Town of Hempstead are serviced by either private companies or villages. The department offers tours and lectures at its East Meadow facility. This service is available to schools and senior groups, among others.
