Families that are identified by the Department of Social Services as having children who are at risk of placement or who are already in foster care

Administrative hours: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM Evenings by appointment Phone crisis support available 24 Hours / 7 Days

Application process

Referrals must come from the Schenectady County Department of Social Services Intake Unit, Family Support Unit, or PINS unit

Provides a program for families to help children who are at risk of placement or who are already in placement with a goal of uniting with their families.

Clients are seen at least once a week in their home with a trauma-informed approach. Services can include but are not limited to parenting skill building; anger management; stress management; problem solving; safety planning; supportive concrete services; case planning and school consultation.
