Description

Oversees volunteer program and youth community service projects in Broome County, coordination of Blood Services volunteers and community presentations on preparedness. Volunteer opportunities range from helping at blood drives to office assistance. Also opportunities to work in disaster relief, youth services, health/safety education. Teen volunteer opportunities range from helping at blood drives to grocery shopping for homebound elderly to office assistance. Also opportunities to work in disaster relief, youth services, health/safety education.Age Requirement: 16+ yrs. Required Training & Application Procedures: Generally one hour scheduled training; complete written application Police Clearance: Background check required. Proof of Immunization: May be required for disaster services.
