Direct Services include: Counseling, support groups and information on many issues associated with aging and caregiving Home visiting services pair homebound seniors with volunteer visitors Senior housing information Assistance in applying for benefits such as Elderly Pharmaceutical Insurance Coverage (EPIC) Health Insurance Information Counseling and Assistance Program (HIICAP) Personal Emergency Response System (PERS) In home Fall safety assesments Ombudsman Program advocating on behalf of residents of long term care facilities in Tompkins, Chemung and Schuyler counties Farmers Market Nutrition Program, providing free coupons to income-eligible individuals age 60+ Publications such as the Senior Circle, Caregivers Newsletter, and resource guides for older adults and caregivers.
