OAR serves people who have been involved in the criminal justice system. They help restore and maintain their clients inclusion in the community. In an effort to reduce recidivism they offer assistance with services such as: Meeting basic needs including food, clothing and social support Help obtain ID such as DMV non driver ID's and birth certificates. Applications for housing, employment, and financial assistance Provide safe affordable transitional housing Outreach to the encampments Referrals for medical and mental health College Initiative Upstate (CIU) - Access Higher Education as desired Partnerships with numerous community organizations
