FOR A LIST OF ALL DROP BOXES IN TOMPKINS COUNTY, PLEASE CLICK ON "DETAILS."Drop-boxes, located in many locations throughout the County, are available year-round for disposing of medications. Thanks to the NYS Drug Take Back Act, pharmaceutical manufactures must provide take-back options in all NYS chain pharmacies. Drop-boxes or "kiosks" are likely to be installed in chain pharmacies in late 2019. Pre-paid mail-back envelopes should be available for anyone who can't make it to the pharmacy.
