SUNSHINE PREVENTION CENTER FOR YOUTH AND FAMILIES

Promotes the prevention of alcohol, drug abuse and violence through low cost educational and family support programs offered to the residents in the Town of Brookhaven and surrounding communities. Offers services to schools, organizations, youth and their families addressing self-esteem and social skills enhancement, alcohol and drug prevention, anger management,counseling, prevention workshops, treatment referrals and resources, parenting and relationship skills, and divorce and separation issues. Services are provided through peer support groups, parenting workshops, creative arts, summer programs, leadership-teen opportunities, holiday projects, educational workshops, outreach services, resources and referrals.
