Offers a program designed specifically for individuals who are currently employed and who will enroll as part-time students over a period of at least four semesters. The curriculum includes four standard collegiate accounting courses which must be taken in sequence. Enrolls 21,000 students in the State University of New York (SUNY) system, at its three campuses in Selden, Brentwood and Riverhead. SCCC offers the Associate in Arts (A.A.), Associate in Science (A.S.), and Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree, as well as a variety of certificate programs. Each year, Suffolk County Community College prepares students to enter the workforce upon graduation in such marketable areas as medical records, physical therapist assistant, paralegal, nursing, culinary arts and many other fields.
