Description
Veterans Benefits Counselor on staff to assist veterans and their families file claims for veterans' benefits. In addition, offers veterans generous discounts at most town park facilities and on recreational programs; a real property tax exemption program and offers free pet adoptions for veterans who wish to adopt a companion from the town's Animal Shelter. Additional services include: Department of Veteran Affairs Claims Assistance and Information Dependents Education Assistance Post-9/11 GI Bill Montgomery GI Bill Veterans' Educational Assistance Program (VEAP) Survivor and Widow/Widower Benefits Vocational Rehabilitation Aid and Attendance Claims and Information Service-Connected Compensation Non-Service Connected Pension
