LONG ISLAND CRISIS CENTER
Provides free, anonymous, confidential suicide prevention, crisis intervention, and referral information for the many issues that affect people. LICC also offers online counseling Monday-Friday from 7pm-11pm. Services are avaiable for Long Island residents. Other projects that LICC operates are PFY (formerly Pride for Youth) - for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or questioning adolescents and young adults, Runaway Hotline, and suicide outreach services. Community Education workshops are available for schools, agencies, parents and professionals.
