Connects individuals to treatment for those suffering from substance abuse, mental illness and domestic violence. Also provides housing preparedness, support and retention and employment services. Nonsectarian, social services agency which serves people experiencing homelessness, hunger and extreme poverty. Programs include a soup kitchen, men's shelter, women's shelter, summer day camp and after school mentoring for homeless and disadvantaged children, supportive housing for individuals with mental illness, chronic homelessness or AIDS/HIV and support to individuals with developmentally disabilities, housing retention and employment and vocational services.
