Children and youth ages 5-17 who reside in Suffolk County and are diagnosed with serious emotional disturbance or have a mental health diagnosis and are considered "at risk".

Provides short term crisis intervention services to children, adolescents and their families to avoid the need for additional in home services or assist with meeting immediate needs while waiting for services. The program is three months in length, with a total of nine visits. Areas of focus may include mental health, educational, respite, recreation, skills building, and a various areas relating to the youth's functioning.
