Update: eRide Ithaca launch date 6/1/2026. Callers can download the eRide Ithaca app from the App Store, create an account and start booking rides. Rides must start or end in service area described below. Drop off zone includes most of the downtown flat area and bus stops to connect to Cornell, Ithaca Mall, rural areas, etc.*Callers without internet access an be connected to a transportation specialist for assistance with creating an account and booking rides.IETA's objective is to increase access to clean electric transportation options to residents of the West End, West Hill and part of the Southside Flats neighborhoods in the city of Ithaca, including low income, veterans, people with disabilities. On demand electric car/vanpool program eRide Ithaca with an app to reserve one of the electric vehicles. Trip must start or end in service area. Can only drop off in specified zone within Ithaca City limit or one of the four designated bus stops (Green St station, Seneca St station, Meadow St at Buffalo and Clinton at Corn St)Cost is $5 and $1 for each additional resident.
