THE WAY BACK
Provides community-based transitional residential facilities for men and women ages 18 and over who have a primary psychiatric diagnosis. Offers rehabilitative housing services, staff support, advocacy, and protects the rights and needs of the men and women it serves. Encourages the full participation of residents in their rehabilitation process so they may realize their potential of living productively, cohesively, and happily within the community. Remains vigilant in protecting the rights and needs of the people it serves. The primary emphasis of the program is to prepare residents to live independently in the community. Teaches residents the skills needed to successfully live outside the community residence structure. A willingness to participate in the rehabilitative goal planning process is required.
