Application process

Applications are accepted November 1st-December 10th, 2025 and are available online at www.wnyheroes.org. Emergency requests may also be considered on a case-by-case basis after the application deadline.

Fees

No fees; all programs are free to veterans and their families.

Description

Provides holiday assistance to Veterans, military personnel, military and Veteran families, and widows/widowers of Veterans that are in need. Assistance may include gifts/toys, items from wish lists composed by Veterans and their families, household cleaning products, toiletries, and assistance purchasing food for holiday meals. ##Veteran##
