Offers default mortgage counseling, and loss mitigation services to homeowners with FHA loans, conventional loans, and reverse mortgages, and seeks to assist in maintaining properties to prevent foreclosure through negotiating with lenders for mortgage delinquencies. Does not offer cash assistance. Also perform budget analysis in order to educate individuals and prevent homelessness as well as assist families and/or individuals in their transition to permanent housing. Call. Provides a speaker on topics such as Fair Housing laws, foreclosure counseling, landlord and tenant counseling, agency services, and first time homebuyer seminars. Serves Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
