Eligibility

Individuals with a cancer diagnosis travelling to a cancer-related medical appointment; must be able to walk unassisted to and from the vehicle or have an accompanying caregiver to assist; patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legally responsible adult such as a parent or caregiver

Provides transportation assistance in the form of volunteer drivers who use their own cars to drive people with cancer to their treatment related appointments and back home again; rides are not always guaranteed - please call for availability.

Improves the lives of individuals with cancer and their families through advocacy, research and patient support to move towards, prevention, detection, treatment and survival from cancer.

Patient support programs include 24/7 support & information as well as assistance with rides to treatment visits, lodging assistance when patients are seeking care out of town, wigs & head coverings offered at cost (or with assistance, should client be in financial distress), online support groups for many cancer types & caregivers, as well as referrals to other agencies who may offer programs that can help the patient.
