Call or walk in during service hours. Proof of identity and income required; see documentation requirements below. Proof of ID: - Adults 18 and older: Government-issued ID, such as driver's license, state ID card, or benefit card with photo. - Children: Birth certificate, insurance card, or student ID. Proof of Income: - Wage Earners: Two most recent paystubs. - SSI/SSDI Recipients: Social security award letter or most recent bank statement showing deposit. - Pension/Annuity Recipients: Annual award letter or most recent bank statement showing deposit. - Child Support Recipients: Court order or printout of pay history from child support website. - TANF/DSS: DSS budget.

Description

Provides emergency services on a walk-in or referral basis, including food pantry, rental assistance for eviction prevention, utility shut-off assistance, cleaning supplies, hygiene products, and diapers. Emergency clothing and limited household supplies available by voucher to Community Action's Main Street Thrift Store (also located at 131 South Main Street). Also offers personalized case management, through which clients can be connected with vital services such as primary care, behavioral health services, peer counseling, insurance enrollment, and health home coordination, with the goal of empowering families to achieve long-term self-sufficiency.
