Support the Albany Housing Authority's monthly food distribution by assisting with preparation and on-site delivery at various AHA locations. Volunteers help with bagging, sorting, counting, and transporting food items at our central site (200 S Pearl St), as well as handing out bags to the community and taking attendance during distributions. Multiple roles are available to match different abilities and interests.

Owns, operates, and manages public housing developments designated for both low income elderly and/or disabled residents and low income families. Provides information about subsidized housing under its jurisdiction, accepts Section 8 applications, provides Section 8 vouchers, and subsidizes approved Section 8 rental payments.
