TWILIGHT ALTERNATIVE PROGRAM | VALLEY STREAM CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT

Provides students who would benefit from a non-traditional academic setting an alternative learning environment in the late afternoon to evening. This is a Regents-based program that gives high school students in the Valley Stream District the essential tools to succeed and complete their high school academic requirements in this unique program or eventually return to their home high school to complete their degree. In Twilight, students attend smaller class sizes, receive a wide variety of teaching methods, participate in non-traditional evaluations, and work with teachers and support staff to have their social, mental, and emotional needs met.
