CRIME VICTIM ADVOCACY SUPPORT SERVICES PROGRAM (CVASSP) | WESTCHESTER JEWISH COMMUNITY SERVICES (WJCS) - YONKERS FAMILY MENTAL HEALTH CLINIC

Provides assistance for Westchester residents who have been victims of crime with crisis intervention, emotional support and shortterm crisis counseling, accompaniment to hospitals, police, and courts, advocacy with police, courts, District Attorney, and other area, service providers, Information and follow-up on case status in Criminal and Family Courts, as needed, referrals to and help with arrangements for temporary housing and domestic violence shelters, assistance in filing a claim with the NY State Office of Victim Services for reimbursement of medical and counseling costs, lost wages, and funeral expenses, etc. Referral to partner agencies, safety planning, Inform victims of their rights and options.
