Description
* Provides a national registry via which individuals who do not wish to receive unsolicited telemarketing calls can register their residential phone numbers. The National Do Not Call Registry Act does not apply to businesses with whom a consumer has a pre-existing business relationship, nor does it apply to political organizations, charities, telephone surveyors, or insurance companies in some states.
