A school district which encompasses the needs of those students with emotional, learning or developmental disabilities. The schools create an atmosphere to make learning easier, and includes the regents criteria so that the student's goal is to graduate. There are 3 campuses:Jennie Clarkson School in Valhalla - for students with severe emotional and learning disabilities.Greenburgh Academy in Yonkers - for students with disabilities living with their families.Dr. Kenneth B. Clark Academy in Dobbs Ferry and the Kaplan Career Academy in New Windsor - state-of- the-art facilities for students with disabilities.

Provides a safe and supportive structure for adolescents who cannot be maintained and educated in their home community and who require a moderate to highly restrictive setting in order to function on a daily basis. Youngsters who require a great deal of academic and therapeutic support due to their psychiatric condition, behavioral difficulties, and cognitive impairments will be considered for placement.
