Mercy Medical Center is a 375-bed hospital and Level II Trauma Center which serves the residents of Nassau County with a variety of medical and surgical specialties. Among the disciplines for which Mercy is best known are: maternal and child health oncology, physical medicine and rehabilitation orthopedics, behavioral health care services and ophthalmology. Provides 24-hr emergency services, intensive care unit, cardiac care unit, drug and alcohol programs, radiology, psychiatric unit, outpatient facilities and cancer care.The medical staff consists of over 700 physicians.
