Description

Psychotherapy services typically involve weekly talk therapy on a one-to-one, couple's and-or group basis, as appropriate to the needs of the individual. Emphasis is placed upon assisting individuals with developing an understanding of the effects of their neurological condition, while establishing practical management strategies and coping techniques. Treatment also entails efforts to facilitate adjustment to and acceptance of the long-term effects of such conditions upon their daily functioning at work and at home, and within their interpersonal relationships.
