People seeking OPWDD services must contact the Regional Front Door in your area first to obtain eligibility. Residents of Nassau County ages 18 and above with a diagnosis of HIV/AIDS or at a high risk for HIV, including their partners and families. Offers substance abuse services, HIV services, day habilitation for persons with developmental disabilities, residential care for persons with mild to moderate developmental disabilities, supported housing for special populations, service coordination, information and referral, and cultural competency training.
