Description

Provides weekly groups and individual counseling services for adolescents who have been raped/sexually assaulted, witness to domestic violence, and for those who are in relationships where verbal, physical, or sexual abuse is present. Ages are 13 to 17.

Known as VIBS. Provides therapeutic counseling, court advocacy and legal representation to victims of domestic/date violence, rape, sexual assault, incest, elder abuse and human trafficking in Suffolk County. Provides assistance to victims and family members who are entitled to compensation through the New York State Office of Victim Services. Referral and application process support. Provides community education regarding these issues. Agency brochures and literature available. Will train volunteers.
