For HEAP: Schenectady County residents depending on income, age of household members, energy costs and shelter situations; call for information (individuals must either pay directly for heating costs or pay rent that includes heating costs) For Program: Individuals not receiving food stamps

Provides a broad range of services designed to help individuals and families achieve stability and self-sufficiency to move out of poverty. Programs include early childhood education, child care resources and referrals, vocational training and employment support, housing, community resources navigation and advocacy, and assistance with SNAP and other benefit applications.
