Albany HANDS is a mental health/criminal justice program that works with homeless and "at risk" individuals, residing in Albany County, who are non-violent offenders living with mental illness and co-occurring substance abuse disorders. Albany HANDS coordinates with local courts and treatment providers to develop service plans that allow individuals to avoid incarceration while they comply with treatment and connect with housing and employment.
