Processes applications for a variety of public health insurance programs, including Medicaid for certified disabled individuals, individuals ages 65 or older, prenatal care services (presumptive eligibility), Medicaid buy-in for Working People with Disabilities, and the Medicare Savings Program. Screens individuals to determine if they need to apply for Medicaid through the NYS Health Benefit Exchange. Processes Medicaid applications for individuals seeking help paying for nursing home or long term home health care services.
