Helps beneficiaries of Social Security Administration programs (SSI, SSDI, CDB, DWB, etc.) move from benefits to paid employment and greater economic self-sufficiency with information on making informed choices about returning to work, such as: paid employment's impact on Social Security benefits understanding current Social Security legislation work incentives such as Impairment Related Work Expenses (IRWE) subsidy and Plan to Achieve Self-Support (PASS) Access Ticket to Work Program

Vocational assessments, supports, experiences and placements, plus staff support to help service recipients find and keep jobs, emphasizing abilities and accommodating disabilities.Assistance with: career exploration and assessment pre-employment skill training and work experience supervised work training in the Challenge building or supervised work groups in the community job search preparation job development and placement on-the-job training and supports job club for public assistance recipients transitioning to employment by developing the skills to get and keep jobs with chance for career growth advises job seekers receiving Social Security benefits on finding a job and job's impact on Social Security supports for job seekers with more significant disabilities, enabling them to work successfully in local businesses or one of Challenge's social enterprises direct placement to give job seekers with disabilities tools and supports, including a job coach and a job developer, to conduct a successful job search and remain employed in local businesses commercial businesses, such as commercial cleaning crews, on-site product assembly, on-site microfilming and digitizing, long- or short-term outsourcing, hydroponic greenhouse, agricultural product aggregation and food processing facility kitchen crews at local colleges vocational services; community, social, leisure/recreational, educational and volunteer activities; Medicaid service coordination, and benefits advisement training, work experience, job placement and support to help Food Stamp recipients find a job offering financial independence and security short- and long-term temporary staffing service
