Description
Provides Independent Living Services by culturally sensitive, bi-lingual staff members who focus on issues directly related to and which impact the disabled Hispanic Community. Provides services such as peer counseling, advocacy, housing referrals, Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP), limited transportation, equipment loan, etc. to the Hispanic community in Nassau County. Creative arts workshops are provided. Appointment required.

Also provides a comprehensive resource directory of goods and services available in Nassau County for people with disabilities. Provides limited transportation service (wheelchair accessible van), ADA consultants, and technical assistance to business organizations and individuals.
