Memory Care Corral at Sunshine Horses is a customized program for individuals with Alzheimer's disease and their caregivers. Guided sessions with horses provide both the individual with memory loss and their loved one with therapeutic, non-riding activities. These 60 to 90 minute sessions enable them to better communicate and support each other. The human-horse connection helps participants feel relaxed, confident and happy. No previous horse handling experience is necessary! All activities are ground-based (no riding).

Rescues all horses in need, regardless of industry or breed, and prepares them for their forever homes. Coordinates with youth and adult volunteer programs and seeks to provide personal growth, and enrichment. The goal of this service is to help horses and people.
