The Office for Aging HEAP Unit takes applications for those age 60 or over and for those who are disabled and receiving SSI (Supplemental Security Income) and SSD (Social Security Disability) and who do not receive SNAP (food stamps) or Temporary Assistance. Provides financial help with heating and cooling for low-income households.
