Investigates crimes involving the unlawful use of identity or other identifying information of a person. This unit maintains a database for all identity theft crimes occurring within the Police District. In addition, this unit acts as a liaison with federal, state, and local agencies as well as commercial entities, so as to coordinate investigations concerning identity theft crimes.
