Hotlines where local residents can call anonymously and report drug activity, violence, suspicious activity, etc, giving information such as , name, address, telephone numbers, vehicles, plate numbers, date and time of activity can be helpful to investigators. It has contributed to the arrest of hundreds of drug dealers and other criminals in Putnam County.
