Visit website - request portal on home page. No applications taken over the phone at this time, unless household cannot access the online application. This portal is only open for requests during the first 3 days of each month.

Description

* Provides one-time rental assistance for eviction prevention or a security deposit to divert a family from a shelter placement. All requests for assistance via the Prevention & Diversion Program go through an online portal. This portal is ONLY open for requests during the first week of each month.* Applicants who have illustrated a stable rental history and/or an ability to pay future rent will be supplemented by aftercare case management for up to one year from Family Promise of Greater Rochester staff and/or partner agencies.
