Assists families and individuals who are in need of cash assistance to meet their needs. Eligibility is determined by several factors including income, resources, and willingness to comply with Agency regulations and requirements. Also assists individuals with "once only" emergency needs if eligible (such as to prevent an eviction, prevent a utility shut-off, pay for emergency car repair/car insurance to prevent the loss of employment, etc.).
