DENTAL ASSISTING PROGRAM | NASSAU COMMUNITY COLLEGE CONTINUING EDUCATION & WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT
Prepares students for entry level positions in one of the fastest growing healthcare professions. Nassau Community College (NCC), in partnership with Condensed Curriculum International (CCI), is pleased to offer this Dental Assisting program. The course has 80 hours of instructor-led sessions in the classroom. Students may pursue the Dental Assistant National Board (DANB) Certified Dental Assistant exam, Radiation Health and Safety (RHS) exam, and the Infection Control Exam (ICE). Students need a high school diploma or equivalent, a current government-issued photo ID, and the application requires disclosure of a Social Security number. The costs of the certification exams are not included. With 3,500 hours of experience and CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS), the applicant can sit for the DANB General Chairside exam and earn DANB CDA certification. . Call for more detailed information.
