Career Closet serves women of all ages who are entering or reentering the workforce and need appropriate clothing to wear on interviews and for work. They are referred to Career Closet, on an appointment-only basis, by qualified job training or social service agencies throughout Westchester County.

Career Closet opened in April, 1997 to provide interview-appropriate clothing to women leaving welfare, or in a transitional life situation (divorced, widowed, etc) and entering the work force. The volunteers of this program have successfully served over 2500 clients as they seek a productive new phase in their lives.
