Coordinates a statewide effort to identify and develop resources for families in which a parent has a diagnosed mental illness. Seeks to increase awareness of the strengths and needs of parents with psychiatric disabilities, train mental health services providers in treatment issues, publicizing and dissemination materials and identify service gaps: advocating for these families. Identifies and links existing and evolving programs and parents, and facilitates the creation of new services.
